| Sooo, from the last time I blogged. Things have been peachy.. the musical was great, we were all people could talk about for the week. We got our report cards, I got straight As but things seem so flat... I'm determined to do better.
Oh that Bio project Almost due in a week. Ive gotta get that done now. now now now. I can't believe I waited this long and I'm doing random odd jobs just to avoid it. I'm thinking about reading the whole entire book over again.. its only 297 pages ... in small print. and puts me to sleep everytime I read it.... Oh jeeezzzzzzz...
ok gonna stop blogging and start working. because this was another one of those things I do to avoid work.. heheh.

| Yes that is right, two days from being back from a unplanned 3 week break we are on another day off.
So I started my suprise day off by well, not even starting it.. I slept in, whoo hooo!
I've decided to get down to school buisness though and finish the essay for Summer@Brown, finish my book.
Oh and my bio project isnt due until AFTER February Vacation! I was so relieved. Things are starting to get really busy with the Musical now that we lost that week... Although the excitement is building and I can't wait to put on Annie.
Stress is coming back now that we got our progress reports and I am not happy with my biology grade. Even though its an 80. Which translates into a B- , it just seems so flat for me. I haven't had a average in my classes come below an 85 in a long time, like-6th-grade-for-that-one-term, long time. So I've been pretty bummed about that. But I guess that means its time to go into full super Biology freak mode....thats fine, it will do me good and it will be worth it.

| Three weeks ago, I was one of those very lucky people caught in the ice storm mess in New England. Boy was that fun, I mean being in the cold for about 48 hours was fabulous. Along with no light for me to read in after it got dark, my god it was like heaven... hahaha... not. Well after two days we had our power back, and we realize we would soon be considered lucky to get ours back when we learned plenty of other people still had no power and it would be a while until they go theirs back.
So with this whole mess, the school had no power too, and ahar! They had to cancel school for 3 weeks. It was totally a nice birthday treat since the following monday was my birthday...
But alas, alll good things come to an end and I have to go back to walk the dreaded halls of high school. I totally shouldve done some studying and reading for school. But instead I read for myself and loved it. I've read about 4 or 5 books in the last 3 weeks and I'm so bummed I won't have as much free time to read more....
Comming back in the new year for school, leaves me feeling determined and cracked down to keep my excellence and grades and pursue other opportunities. I am currently filling out my Summer@Brown Leadership institute application in hopes of getting accpeted and taking courses at Brown this summer... I feel motivated to have this opportunity open to me.

| well 08 was kinda great. i have a feeling 2009 has something in store for me. :) i have some resolutions but they are the same every year, and all throughout the year i try to stay commited to them. some resolutions include losing weight making good grades read more i have some more to ponder on.... well goodbye 2008 and hey 2009! | | |
